Collage College

You don't have to have a design degree to hang your wall art successfully!  Just take these pointers and then wing it!  Gather some like frames, place interesting or meaningful photos and mementos in them, intermix some mirrors, find an empty wall and put up a collage.

Here are some photos and mirrors I pulled together.  The photos and frames are all have a common theme -red and gold.  Follow the theme for a consistent look.  This is key in selecting your frames and photos - otherwise it will look hodge-podge.
Add mirrors and round frames for interest.  The eagle convex mirror was a fantastic thrift store find.  Before I hung it, I had to remove the $1.99 price tag.  Can you believe it?  I love it.

Start with your favorite picture in the middle - center stage.  Then build around it alternating large, small, rectangle and ovals.  It will all come together!
Here is the finished product.  It fills the wall and makes great use of the tall ceiling height.  The oval mirror on the right is also a thrift find - $4.  Isnt' it fun?!
