The ladies of Grand Rapids don't have to wait much longer!
Anthropologie is finally coming to the shops at Breton Village! The grand opening is coming soon - NOVEMBER 11! For those not familiar, Anthropologie is a women's clothing and accessories store. It has a boho chic vibe and with vintage looks, feminine flair, and unbelievable
accessories for your home. Most big cities have had the privilege of having Anthropologie stores available for years, but Grand Rapids is a small town and is lucky to have this coming in. I am excited to see how the store is decorated - the store designers have amazing style and can give you ideas and inspiration for your own home! On my recent trip to NYC, the girls and I spent a good hour in Anthropologie in Rockefeller Center. While the clothes are darling, I was drawn to the way the clothes were displayed and the many different decor ideas that they gave me! Here are a few things that inspired me!

| I love the bold graphic wall paper against the warm wood of the chairs hung as wall art. |
 |
| How great is this wall unit made from new and old milk crates. Creates a really cool 3 dimensional art piece that is also practical for storage. What a good idea. |
 |
| Here chairs have been cut in half to create a stack of shelves. I love the way they have placed the items on the shelves. |
 |
| I get ideas so many places. I've seen this in stores before, but why not try a trompe l'eoil treatment in your home. Don't get me wrong, real architectural molding is better - but this is a fun, artsy, and cheap way to give interest to a boring doorway. Would be an interesting thing to paint in a dining room, bedroom or bathroom. Hire an artist to do it, or try it yourself. |

| This picture does not do this lamp justice - it was gigantic. It is a playful statement - an oversized lamp that looks smaller because of the clear glass. It was almost a floor lamp. Very interesting! |

Of course, you know I am into the driftwood thing. This just goes to show you, it is out there and you can cover just about anything in driftwood! It looks great. Bring nature indoors.
