Flying Off the Shelves!

Well, as I have mentioned I recently went to NYC on a girls weekend with college friends and during my short time away, things around here went wild!  I've had a bunch of traffic on my Etsy.com site and things are actually selling!  The word is spreading and things are flying off my shelves - well, kind of!  The items that get the most views are my driftwood pieces.  So, needless to say, I've been busy shipping, creating and shopping to replenish my "inventory."  Sorry to keep you waiting for my posts!  I am so excited to be busy!

Since I've yet to complete my studio downstairs - all in time, folks - my kitchen island has become my workspace (food prep is gonna have to wait - Mama's gotta glue some driftwood!)  I am in the process of making another driftwood mirror - this one is square and will be phenomenal when done.  It is slightly smaller than the last one.  The oval one was gorgeous and I hope that the person who purchased it enjoys it!  I also made another wine cork wreath because of a sale!  They all turn out a little different just based on the sizes and types of corks available, but I must say - this one might be my best work.

I have lots of new vintage pieces to put up for sale in my Etsy.com shop - so stay tuned.  Christmas is coming and there are some cute vintage holiday items that would be show stoppers in your home!  Especially if you're not ready to commit to lots of antiques around your home, bringing a few vintage pieces out at the holidays might ease you into the idea of gradually incorporating them into your decor - just wait 'till you get some compliments!
